Course Overview: We will provide comprehensive and interdisciplinary support to sixth grade students in the Ganzi Tibetan region through topics such as sexuality education, current affairs news, and English speaking, in order to enhance their basic English literacy and acquire knowledge in physiological hygiene and artificial intelligence.
Target students: Sixth grade students from Mari Township Central Primary School in Xinlong County, Garze Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with a total of 39 students in one class. Students will graduate in June 2025 and study at the county junior high school or Buddhist college. At present, the school offers four main courses for sixth grade students, including Chinese, Mathematics, English, and Tibetan, as well as national courses such as music, art, and physical education.

Why we help them: In an interview with volunteer teacher Ms. Wang, she mentioned that material resources in Tibetan schools are not scarce, but education is relatively rigid, and students are unable to apply knowledge to their daily lives. In Tibetan areas, gender inequality is severe, and students lack basic knowledge of physical hygiene and have not been exposed to practical topics such as artificial intelligence.

Required support: We temporarily need more teachers to attend classes together and strive to have one class per week. It may also be necessary to contact the school to donate books to the children in Ganzi.

Future plan: We plan to meet our classmates for the first time at school at the end of December, take photos for them, and establish preliminary contact with them. Before and after their graduation, we also plan to go to Ganzi to record their growth and support them through the initial stage of junior high school.
Influence: We measure our influence by recording data and students' progress. At the last class of each topic, we will have students present their achievements to ensure that they
have gained knowledge and received assistance both in terms of knowledge and mental health. Our first-year course will serve 39 sixth grade students, and after they graduate, we will continue this project for a long time, striving to serve more schools and families with educational resources and outdated educational concepts like them.
