From May 24 to 25, 2025, Module II of the Public-Interest Finance Mini-MBA (Cohort 5) officially kicked off at the Shanghai SDIC Building. The course was funded by E Fund Management and the Shenzhen Charity Federation · Public-Interest Finance Development Fund, jointly initiated by the Shanghai China Business Network Public-Interest Foundation and the Shenzhen Center for Innovation in Corporate Social Responsibility, with charitable support from institutions including Shanghai Trust. Bringing together experts from finance, philanthropy, and law, the program conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as “Practical Operations of Charitable Trusts,” “Socially Responsible Investing,” and “Philanthropy Models for Family Businesses,” creating a high-level learning platform that bridges theory and practice for professionals in public-interest finance.

In addition, the course included a special “Tech for Good Practice Sharing” segment, inviting Gloria Guo, a high school student from Shanghai, to present her public-interest innovation platform. Leveraging the latest AI agent technology, the platform automatically generates due diligence reports on nonprofit organizations. It helps impact financiers, nonprofit practitioners, and donors quickly grasp an organization’s background, finances, market position, and project execution, showcasing the thinking and innovation at the intersection of technology and philanthropy.
